Dr. Ashlynn Sullivan
Ashlynn is an Arnprior local who returned home after completing her Bachelor’s of Kinesiology degree from Acadia University in Nova Scotia, and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Prior to that Ashlynn went to both elementary and high school in Arnprior, and has been an active member of the Arnprior community her whole life.
Throughout her rigorous education, Ashlynn has achieved several additional certifications. This includes Contemporary Medial Acupuncture, Facial Acupuncture, Webster Technique (for special certification in treating pregnant women), Athletic Movement Assessment (for addressing athletes), SMART tools instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, as well as additional courses in pregnancy care, pediatric care, and postpartum rehabilitation. Ashlynn is also maintains membership on the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association).
Ashlynn enjoys treating patients using a variety of individualized treatment methods. This includes spinal manipulative therapy, gentle drop piece adjustments, manual soft tissue therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, postural education and rehabilitation exercises. After a thorough evaluation, you and Dr. Ashlynn will decide together what treatment would be best suited for your unique case.
In addition to treating the general public, Ashlynn has special interest in treating prenatal and postpartum women throughout their pregnancy and motherhood journey. Her additional certifications, and work as a GROWCO ambassador have given her a special understanding of conditions associated with pregnancy, and what moms may be experiencing post-delivery. This includes low back and pelvic pain during pregnancy, core and pelvic floor weakness post-delivery, and neck and back pain while feeding and carrying baby (and/or toddlers) to name a few.

Dr. Paul Sly
Paul was born and raised in Arnprior. He graduated from Arnprior District High School before receiving his Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from Queen’s University at Kingston and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree (Magna Cum Laude) from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.
Paul returned to Arnprior in the fall of 1996 and started the Arnprior Chiropractic Health Centre on Madawaska Boulevard. Paul and his wife Janet moved the centre to its current location in the fall of 2001.
Paul uses spinal manipulative therapy, various modalities including acupuncture, and he is a certified Active Release Technique provider. Paul studied acupuncture in Sri Lanka in the summer of 1994 while still at chiropractic college and it has been a part of his treatment repertoire since he started practice.
Always keeping current with evidence-based evaluation and treatment techniques, Paul has added certifications in Functional Movement Systems evaluation and Functional Integrated Needling treatment. He focuses on dysfunction in human movement, how it causes pain, predisposes to injury, and negatively affects performance. He treats a wide range of soft tissue, muscle, and joint disorders in people of all ages and walks of life, including elite level athletes.
Paul married Janet Wilson in August 1998. They lived in Arnprior for ten years before moving to a farm between Arnprior and Pakenham, close to Janet’s parents. They live there with their sons Coleman and William.

Eli is an experienced physiotherapist who has been working in the rehabilitation space for 15+ years. He has a special interest in working with people who have shoulder pain and dysfunction. Through education, exercises, and hands-on techniques, Eli strives to make people better versions of themselves - less pain, more function, and able to live their best life. He aims for his patients to increase their functional ability by treating the pain, improving biomechanics, improving strength, and creating durable bodies. He values creating lasting, positive change in his patients while being in a unique position to motivate, coach and help people navigate their potentially challenging rehab journey.

Dr. Phil Knapp
Growing up in Athens, Ontario, Phil played competitive hockey most of his life where he developed a keen interest in sports medicine. After completing a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Kinesiology from York University, he then continued his studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto where he graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic with Clinic Honours in 2010. In addition to Dr. Knapp’s chiropractic education, he has completed several soft tissue courses such as: Active Release Technique® Graston Technique® FAKTR PM®, Functional Anatomical Palpation® Integrated Therapeutics® Contemporary Medical Acupuncture (McMaster University) Most recently, Phil became certified as a Complete Concussion Management™ practitioner making ACHC an official Complete Concussion Management™ certified clinic. While at York, Phil played for the men’s varsity hockey team, was an Academic All-Canadian and an alternate captain. During his fourth year with the team, Phil was selected to represent Canada at the 2005 Winter Universiade held in Innsbruck, Austria as a member of the men’s hockey team. After graduating from CMCC, Dr. Knapp practiced at a multidisciplinary sports medicine clinic in Toronto where he worked with the Ryerson University Men’s Varsity Hockey Club and the Markham Waxers Junior A Hockey Club. Since arriving in Arnprior in 2012, Phil has been involved in many community organizations, including the Arnprior Minor Hockey Association, the Prior Runners Learn to Run clinics and the Unity Run. Phil is motivated to work with all levels of athletes and those seeking an active, healthy lifestyle. He is excited to become entrenched in the Arnprior athletic community and to help the local athletes and teams enhance their athletic performance and stay healthy. Dr. Stephanie Hemstock
Growing up in Ottawa, Stephanie’s passion for health, fitness, and exercise started at a young age playing competitive sports, focusing on trampoline and soccer. As she continued to pursue her passion, she developed a strong interest in how the human body adapts to different activities and overcomes injury. This led her to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from DalhousieUniversity and become a Registered Kinesiologist shortly after graduating. Driven by her passion for this field, she decided to further her education by obtaining a Master of Professional Kinesiology from the University of Toronto before continuing her education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC).
While at CMCC, she worked as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist delivering personal training, rehabilitation, small group training and exercise classes providing her with hands-on experience in the field while also allowing her to continue her education. Since graduating, Stephanie has received additional certificates, including Contemporary Medical Acupuncture and Complete Concussion Management. With the culmination of her education and hands-on experience, Stephanie has developed a personalized and evidence-based approach to her practice.
After spending 10 years away from Ottawa, Stephanie is happy to have settled in Almonte. She still enjoys playing soccer but can also be found doing anything that keeps her active or outdoors, working out at the gym, running, hiking, or trying to cross-country ski. When not working, she can be found planning her next adventure with her partner, Glenn, or cuddling with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Revy, and cat, Potato.
